Monsignor Pace High School participates in a wide variety of sports under the jurisdiction of the Florida High School Activities Association (F.H.S.A.A.) and the Athletic Program. Throughout the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in the programs offered.Over the past 45 years, our teams have won over 15 state championships, and our student athletes have received numerous awards and scholarships. Athletic programs are extracurricular activities, and are given appropriate emphasis. Students must meet the standard of academic achievement set forth by the F.H.S.A.A. and Monsignor Pace High School. FHSAA Handbook states: "11.2.1 - In order to be eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics, a student entering the ninth grade after July 1, 1997 must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or above on a 4.0 unweighted scale, or its equivalent, in the courses required by s. 232.246(1), Florida Statutes.
