Marcos Mirabent wins 3rd Place for Cyber Security at the FBLA National Conference
Snippet: Marcos Mirabent, a 2010 graduate, won 3rd place at the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference in July. Mirabent headed to the conference in Nashville after winning first place at the Florida State FBLA Championship for Cyber Security in April, 2010. He joined over 7,800 fellow future business leaders from around the world in the “Simply the Best” FBLA leadership development and global competition. “The National Leadership Conference was awesome! I am very proud to have won representing Pace.” said Marcos upon his return to Miami.

Pace Announces Top Graduates from the Class of 2010
Snippet: Monsignor Edward Pace High School released the names of its top two students last month. Valedictorian Natalie Lamelas holds a weighted G.P.A. of 5.18. She plans on attending the University of Miami.

First Ever Gates Millennium Scholar Recipients
Snippet: For the first time, not one but two students from Monsignor Edward Pace High School have received recognition as Gates Millennium Scholars. The Gates Millennium Scholars Program (GMS) attracts an average of 20,000 applicants per year, and this year, Gamal Hyppolite and Christina Amanambu were two out of the 1,000 students chosen for this honor.

Troupe 5457 of Monsignor Edward Pace High School Does It Again!
Snippet: After receiving nothing but the very highest rankings of Excellent, Superior, and Critics’ Choice at the district level, Pace’s Thespian Troupe 5457 was well on their way to State Competition in Tampa. After much deliberation, the choices were made for which pieces would be taken to States.
